Travel fees are based on the estimated one-way drive time from our office in West Haven, Utah at the time of scheduling. Fees reflect the additional time required for travel and the resulting impact on appointment availability. To keep our pricing fair and consistent, drive times are calculated by Google Maps using typical traffic conditions (not temporary delays due to accidents or road closures).

How do I know when it’s time to say goodbye?
This is one of the hardest questions any pet parent faces. We can help you assess your pet’s quality of life—looking at their comfort, mobility, appetite, and overall happiness. Together, we’ll decide when the most peaceful time may be.
What should I do before the appointment?
You don’t need to prepare much. You may want to choose a quiet, familiar spot, light a candle, play soft music, or gather favorite blankets or toys. We encourage you to create whatever atmosphere feels right for your family.
Where can the euthanasia take place in my home?
Wherever your pet feels most comfortable—on their bed, in your lap, in the yard, or by a favorite sunny window. We’ll adapt to your space and preferences.
What happens after the appointment?
You’ll have as much time as you need with your pet. When you’re ready, we’ll assist with aftercare arrangements. Some families choose to stay for a quiet moment, while others prefer to step away—we’ll honor your needs either way.
Can I plan the appointment in advance, or is same-day care possible?
We encourage scheduling in advance whenever possible, but we also understand that situations can change quickly. If your pet’s condition worsens suddenly, we’ll do our best to accommodate same-day requests.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept venmo and debit/credit card prior to the time of service. A payment link will be sent to you via text or email once you have had time to make final decisions regarding aftercare and remembrance options. Then scheduling will be finalized upon payment completion.
What happens during a home euthanasia appointment?
We’ll begin by gently greeting your pet and giving them time to relax in their familiar space. When you’re ready, we’ll administer a calming sedative using a syringe and needle just under the skin so your pet drifts into a deep, pain-free sleep. Once they are fully relaxed, a second medication is given to help them pass peacefully. You can stay with your pet for as long as you need before and after.
Will my pet feel any pain?
The process is designed to be as pain-free as possible. The initial sedation ensures your pet is completely relaxed and unaware before the final injection. Some pets might express brief discomfort from the needle during the initial injection; it is much like getting a vaccine. Soon afterwards your pet will feel warm, comfortable and pain free.
How long does the appointment take?
Most visits last 30–60 minutes, depending on your pet’s needs and the pace that feels right for your family. There’s no rush.
Can other family members or pets be present?
Yes. Many families choose to have loved ones, including other household pets, nearby. This can help everyone—both human and animal—find closure.
